77 Years of Proceedings in Print ... and a Few Flipzines

More recently, with advancing technology, a "flipzine" was added to the line up for those interested in carrying their news in their pocket. There's only one problem with that; flipzines weren't meant to be read on tablets or phones.

With the increase in costs related to printing and distributing hard copy magazines, more and more publications turned to publishing electronically. Some offered flipzine editions in conjunction with their print pieces since it was an easy lift. But, as costs continued to rise and news consumption trends continued shifting to online, many publications took a leap some deemed sacrilegious -- they discontinued print in favor of a fully digital presence.
